BCSA and Corus are pleased to announce the launch of the Target Zero web site (www.TargetZero.info). The Target Zero project is a £1 million project funded by BCSA and Corus to provide guidance on the design and construction of sustainable, low and zero carbon buildings in the UK. Five non-domestic building types are being analysed: a school, a distribution warehouse, an out-of-town supermarket, a medium-to-high rise office and a mixed-use building.
To help disseminate the key findings from this programme to designers, construction clients and their professional advisors, steelwork contractors and the wider construction community BCSA and Corus have developed a new Target Zero website ( www.TargetZero.info ). It has many new features including new styling, enhanced functionality and, most importantly, holds a growing amount of useful technical information that will assist the design team to create and develop steel intensive, low and zero carbon buildings. Additional content will be added to the website on a regular basis.
To ensure that you are up-to-date with the Target Zero developments and key findings please register on the new site, visit the web site regularly and take the option of asking us to contact you as new guidance reports and new information become available.
