Our Team
BCSA operates from two offices in London and Doncaster with a team of just under 10 staff. BCSA's staff works closely and support BCSA members by offering specialist and technical advice.

David Moore
Chief Executive Officer
David is responsible for setting the strategic direction of BCSA and managing the BCSA group of companies. He is also responsible for raising the standards of members and the steel construction sector. David represents BCSA and the UK and Republic of Ireland constructional steelwork sectors, ensuing reputational growth and influence at individual, industry and government levels.

Ana Girao Coelho
Engineering Director
Ana is responsible for setting the technical direction of the Association, participates in the development of the steel design and fabrication standards. She manages a number of BCSA’s committees, develops practical design and fabrication guides, and advises BCSA’s member companies on the design and fabrication of steel structures. Ana is an expert in steel construction with over 20 years of experience in Portugal, the Netherlands, and the UK. She has a comprehensive knowledge of analysing, designing and executing steel structures.

Deborah Harrison
Legal Director
Deborah is responsible for the legal function at BCSA, is group Company Secretary and advises members on legal and commercial issues. She also represents BCSA members in liaising with government and the construction industry. Deborah is a specialist construction solicitor with over 17 years experience as an in-house lawyer and in private practice.

Peter Walker
Health, Safety & Training Director
Pete’s role is to provide members with health, safety and training advice, and to keep them up to date with current Regulations and guidance. He works with other Trade Associations and the Health and Safety Executive on the changes in current good working practices. He works with these other bodies to establish common areas of health and safety concern.

Tom Cosgrove
Fabrication and Welding Manager
Tom’s role is to assist members with material, fabrication and welding issues including process control. Tom represents BCSA and the UK on various technical committees, including BSI and CEN, to influence developments in standardisation. He has over 30 years’ experience of steel construction in management, design, fabrication, welding, and erection.

Chris Dolling
Marketing and Technical Development Manager
Chris manages the marketing and technical development activities of Steel Life, which include the maintenance and development of www.steelconstruction.info - the free encyclopedia for UK steel construction information and New Steel Construction (NSC) magazine. Chris oversees the Structural Steel Design Awards scheme and is secretary of BCSA’s Bridgeworks Committee. Chris is a chartered civil engineer with 30 years of experience in the construction industry.

Christina Gulvanessian
Strategic Marketing Manager
Christina is responsible for marketing, communications and sponsorship for BCSA and Steel for Life. Christina also manages BCSA’s marketing; including developing the BCSA website and organising the trade association’s National Dinner. Christina joined BCSA in 2015 and has over 18 years of marketing experience within the building sector.

Lorraine MacKinder
Marketing and Membership Administrator
Lorraine’s role is to provide membership administration to all members of BCSA. Lorraine is responsible for the BCSA membership assessment administration, new member administration, organisation of regional meetings, annual general meetings and in-house meetings. Lorraine has over 17 years experience as an administration manager and personal assistant.
